JetBlue Airways Reports October Traffic
NEW YORK, Nov. 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- JetBlue Airways Corporation (NASDAQ: JBLU) reported its preliminary traffic results for October 2011. Traffic in October increased 7.6 percent from October 2010, on a capacity increase of 6.5 percent.
Load factor for October 2011 was 83.5 percent, an increase of 0.9 points from October 2010. JetBlue's preliminary completion factor was 99.5 percent and its on-time (1) performance was 76.7 percent. JetBlue's preliminary passenger revenue per available seat mile for the month of October increased 11 percent year over year.
