JetBlue Airways Reports February Traffic
NEW YORK, March 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- JetBlue Airways Corporation [NASDAQ: JBLU] reported its preliminary traffic results for February 2013. Traffic in February increased 2.6 percent from February 2012, on a capacity increase of 1.3 percent.
Load factor for February 2013 was 82.4 percent, an increase of 1.0 point from February 2012. JetBlue's preliminary completion factor was 96.1 percent and its on-time (1) performance was 68.8 percent. JetBlue's preliminary passenger revenue per available seat mile (PRASM) for the month of February decreased three percent year over year. For the month of March, PRASM is expected to increase between six and seven percent year over year.
