BANGKOK, Nov. 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Jet Asia Airways Co., Ltd. has launched two times weekly scheduled charter service from Bangkok to Tokyo's Narita Int'l Airport commencing November 3, 2013. The service is launched with the support of Thailand's major outbound tour operators. "The recent visa waiver for Thais traveling to Japan has sparked an influx of Thais traveling to Japan and is the driving force of our service to Narita." said Mr. Veerawat Singhamany, Marketing Manager at JAA. The frequency will increase in Jan 2014 when tickets will be available for the Japanese travelers.

Jet Asia Airways' newly focus on outbound travelers has shown positive results due to the increase in demand and the low prices offered. 500 roundtrip promotional tickets were offered at 7,555THB ($243USD) to jumpstart the flights. All the seats for November were sold out before the first flight operated.
The service will operate two times weekly, with flight JF988 departing Suvarnabhumi Airport every Sunday and Tuesday at 00.45 a.m., arriving at Narita Int'l at 9.15 a.m. (local time). The return service, flight JF989, departs Tokyo every Wednesday and Friday at 14.00 p.m. and arrives in Bangkok at 18.30 pm on the same day.
