WASHINGTON, March 7, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Aristotle, the leader in political technology and data, has appointed a woman to be its chief financial officer for the first time in its 36-year history. Jessica Kilgore, who will also be the first female CFO in the political technology industry, was just promoted to this position as the company prepares for major growth leading into the 2020 election cycle.
Kilgore, who has been with the company since 2013, has been responsible for financial planning, investor relations and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounting department. She also played an integral role in some significant deals Aristotle has made as it has expanded operations over the past several years, including the launch of the highly regarded, hugely popular real-money political prediction market, PredictIt.org.
Kilgore has a Masters in Public and International Affairs from the University of Pittsburgh's Graduate School of Public and International Affairs in International Political Economics, and International Development. Jessica also has a Bachelors from Westminster College in Political Science and took Masters-level classes in Accounting from the University of Maryland University College.

"We are anticipating significant growth in the company across all divisions and I cannot think of a better person to lead the company's financial operations than Jessica."
The company has embarked on an expansion strategy that includes acquisitions and organic growth.
"This is an exciting time for the company and the entire executive team is thrilled to welcome a new CFO who has already been instrumental in providing the finance vision, strategy and leadership to help the organization get to the next level," Aristotle CMO Brandi Travis said. "With Jessica at the finance helm, I'm confident we'll be well positioned to exceed our growth goals moving forward."
