JESS3 Launches 'The Evolution of Radio Waves' Video for Agilent Technologies
WASHINGTON, Feb. 24, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The newly released "Evolution of Radio Waves," video outlines the history of radio waves.
The two-minute animation, designed by JESS3, walks the viewer from the very first audio oscillator, the HP 200A, to current technology with Agilent's newest and most popular function generator, the 33550 series.
Rod Unverrich, R&D Manager at Agilent Technologies, said the 33550 series is not only affordable, but also reaches a new level of performance.
"Point-by-point technology in this product class is providing capabilities not possible before in this price range," Unverrich said. "Our point-by-point technology allows the 33550 series to create very complex arbitrary waveforms with the lowest total harmonic distortion and jitter in their class."
The video highlights the importance and prevalence of radio-wave technology in everyday life.
"Working with Agilent on this video was fascinating," said Jesse Thomas, CEO and founder of JESS3. "It felt like we dove straight into a radio wave, examining it from the inside."
This video is the fifth installment in JESS3's "State of" series, following 2010's "The State of the Internet," "The Future of Revenue," "The State of Cloud Computing" and "The State of Wikipedia," released in January 2011.
