JERSEY CITY, N.J., Oct. 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Jersey City Medical Center at Greenville Fall Fest & Test brings family fun, community outreach and much needed free health screenings to the Greenville community. This event is hosted by two organizations that are committed to helping improve the quality of life of community members; Jersey City Medical Center at Greenville, a RWJBarnabas Health facility and the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc, Nu Lambda Lambda Chapter. The Fall Fest & Test will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017, between 12:00pm-4:00pm at the Jersey City Medical Center at Greenville facility, located at 1825 John F. Kennedy Blvd in Jersey City.
Family fun activities, including a kid's arts & craft station, will be available at the event. Organizations that provide resources and opportunities to the community will be present. Jersey City Medical Center at Greenville will also provide free health screening and tests; including HIV, Hepatitis C, and blood pressure screening. Healthy Snacks and free giveaways will be provided at the event. And with winter coming soon, over 100 donated coats from the Jersey City Medical Center at Greenville coat drive will be given out at the event. Families in the Greenville community are encouraged to come out and enjoy a beautiful fall day of festivities, fun, and free testing.
About Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc, Nu Lambda Lambda Chapter
The Nu Lambda Lambda Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated was chartered and established on January 4, 2003, in Jersey City, New Jersey. The chapter was chartered under the auspices of the Second District Representative Brother Benjamin R. Jefferies at the Second District Council Meeting held at the City College in New York City, New York. The Nu Lambda Lambda (NLL) Chapter was birthed from a unique caliber of Omega men that were originally from Jersey City and maintained their roots to the community. The men of NLL shared a common vision to serve the needs of the underserved not only in Jersey City but in the Hudson County area.
