Jerry Keyes honored as an Outstanding General Manager of the Year by the American Hotel and Lodging Association

MERRILLVILLE, Ind., July 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- White Lodging Services is pleased to announce Jerry Keyes was named as the Outstanding General Manager of the Year for a large property by the American Hotel and Lodging Association.

Keyes was awarded the honor at the association's Summer Summit in Houston June 13.

The AH&LA Stars of the Industry awards program was created more than 40 years ago to recognize outstanding accomplishments in the lodging industry. Keyes was recognized for his tenure in the hospitality industry, his reputation as the welcoming "Mayor of River North" who is always pitching in at his hotel and his commitment to the community, through serving nonprofits such as Back on My Feet, a program to help the homeless.
