NEW YORK, June 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Jennifer Barron, 48, formerly a senior-level marketer and growth strategist with Fidelity Investments, has joined Prophet as a senior partner, the strategic brand and marketing consultancy announced today.
Barron, a resident of Boston, will be working out of Prophet's New York office.

Barron was previously senior vice president, strategy and market insights for Fidelity, which she joined in 2007. In this role, she focused on translating customer, competitive, and economic insights into growth strategies for Fidelity Retail and Retirement Services.
Among her many achievements, she developed and led a major repositioning of the corporation's brand, resulting in an award winning advertising campaign, dramatic improvements in customer brand preference and accelerated growth in customer assets. She also championed a company-wide focus on customer loyalty and customer experience to improve customer retention and lifetime value.
She began and developed her career in consulting at the Monitor Group, capped by her position as senior partner. Jennifer was co-founder and leader of Monitor's most successful business unit (Market2Customer), from 1994 to 2006. During her tenure with Monitor, she consulted across a range of industries, with a primary focus on consumer packaged goods, healthcare and financial services.
Barron holds her M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, and her undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College.
