Jenner & Block LLP Named to Human Rights Campaign's Best Places To Work

CHICAGO, Nov. 15, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Jenner & Block has once again been included in the list of Best Places to Work by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC). The important acknowledgment is given to top companies that support equality for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender employees. This year marks the eighth year in a row that Jenner & Block has achieved a 100 percent rating on the HRC's Corporate Equality Index (CEI), earning a spot on the list.

Founded in 1980, HRC is the country's largest civil rights organization working to achieve LGBT equality. The CEI, initiated in 2002, is a tool used to rate how American businesses are treating their LGBT employees. In 2005, Jenner & Block was the first Chicago-headquartered law firm – and only the fourth law firm nationwide – to receive the HRC 100 percent rating.
