JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga., Feb. 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The beloved Jekyll Island Arts Association's Annual Arts Festival combines with the allure of classic books, outdoor and garden antiques, nautical antiques, antique furniture and jewelry at this year's inaugural Art & Antiques Festival, March 9-11 in the Jekyll Island Historic District-Goodyear Cottage and the Morgan Center. The combination allows visitors to shop amongst thousands of items from yesterday and today! Show producers, Melrose and Johns expect big crowds throughout the weekend. The hotel has created an exclusive Antiques Show package for the weekend that includes:

Antiques Show Hours: Friday, March 9, Preview, 6:30 P.M. - 9:30 P.M.; Saturday, March 10, 10:00 A.M. - 7:00 P.M. and Sunday, March 11; 11:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M. Those seeking antiques will find an abundance at the Jekyll Island Club Hotel's Morgan Center. Guests can get a sneak peak of the wonderful items available for sale by participating in the Preview Party on Friday, allowing antique lovers an early opportunity to secure the best bargains and rare finds. Tickets are $75 and include appetizers prepared by the award winning chefs at the Jekyll Island Club Hotel and entry into the show for the entire weekend. General admission tickets on Saturday and Sunday are $7. The antique show is sponsored by the Jekyll Island Club Hotel and a portion of the tickets sales from all three days benefits the Jekyll Island Foundation.
The Jekyll Island Foundation is a public 501 (c) 3 corporation, established in 1999, which operates exclusively for charitable and educational purposes to support the work of the Jekyll Island Authority by assisting in the preservation, conservation, and appreciation of Jekyll Island, Georgia. Support and stewardship includes the preservation, conservation, and interpretation of historic and natural sites.
