SYOSSET, N.Y., June 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Mr. Jeffrey Scott Cutter of Warren, Michigan has been included in the Strathmore's Who's Who Worldwide Edition for his outstanding contributions and achievements in the field of education.

About JEFFREY SCOTT CUTTER
Mr. Jeffrey Cutter is the Director of Bands at Paul K. Cousino High School in Warren Michigan. He oversees the entire band department, including all aspects of woodwinds, brass and percussion instruments. He is responsible for the marching, concert and Jazz bands. Mr. Cutter is also Program Director of the "Weekend School of Music" at Wayne State University. He was awarded "Outstanding Educator" by Central Michigan University in 1990 and the Merit Award Winner in the Arts by the State of Michigan House of Representatives in 1991. Mr. Cutter was given the Fine Arts Award for Music by the Warren Cultural Commission in 1993 and the Certificate of Commendation, "Five Outstanding Young Michiganders" by Governor John Engler in 1996. He was listed in the International Directory of Distinguished Leadership, 2000-2001, Volunteer of the Week, Detroit Free Press, 2002 and many Who's Who directories. Mr. Cutter serves as Chairman, Warren Cultural Commission; Chair, City of Warren Council of Commissions; President, Warren Concert Band; Treasurer, Warren Symphony; President, Friends of Music of Wayne State University; Member, David Mackenzie Honor Society and numerous band and orchestra associations. Mr. Cutter received his B.A. in Music Education from Wayne State University in 1978 and an M.S. in Education from Wayne State University of Michigan in 1994. He enjoys attending cultural events.
