Jeffrey J. Deuel Named Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategies of Heritage Bank
OLYMPIA, Wash., March 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Heritage Financial Corporation ("Company") (Nasdaq: HFWA). President and Chief Executive Officer, Brian L. Vance, announced today that effective February 24, 2010 Jeffrey J. Deuel joined Heritage Bank as Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategies.
Mr. Deuel has twenty-eight years of banking experience and most recently held the position of EVP Commercial Operations with JPMorgan Chase (formerly Washington Mutual). Mr. Deuel was with Washington Mutual from 2001-2009 and during that time he also held other positions including SVP Commercial Credit Risk Administrator, SVP Commercial Strategy Group, and SVP Commercial Specialty Lending. Prior to joining Washington Mutual Mr. Deuel was based in Philadelphia where he held various Commercial Lending or Lending Administration positions with Bank United and before that CoreStates Bank.
