RIDGEWOOD, N.J., Jan. 15, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Jeffrey B. Magnes, M.D. is recognized by Continental Who's Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Healthcare, in his capacity as an Anesthesiologist with the Bergen Anesthesia Group.

Dr. Magnes has been involved in the Healthcare profession for forty years, the past twenty-seven of which he has served as a practicing Anesthesiologist.  Dr. Magnes obtained his Undergraduate Degree in Biology from Yale University.  As a result of his post-graduate work as a Clinical Lab and Research Technologist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Dr. Magnes was inspired to further his education, as the first step in a lifelong professional commitment to Medicine.  Dr. Magnes obtained his Medical Degree from Columbia College of Physicians & Surgeons, followed by Anesthesia Residency and Fellowship Training (in Obstetric Anesthesiology) at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City.  As a Board Certified Anesthesiologist, Dr. Magnes is also recognized by Leading Physicians of the World, and is an esteemed member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the New Jersey State Society of Anesthesiologists.

Dr. Magnes is a founding member of the Bergen Anesthesia Group (BAG), which currently consists of thirty-eight highly qualified Physician-Anesthesiologists.  On a clinical level, Dr. Magnes and his colleagues interact with Surgeons, Internists, and Intensivists to provide integrated, state-of-the-art perioperative care to their patients at The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, New Jersey.  As BAG's immediate Past President, Dr. Magnes also continues to work closely with Hospital Administrators on a number of Hospital projects related to EMR, Patient Safety, and Business initiatives.

Dr. Magnes' leisure activities include fine dining with friends and family, music and theatre, and competitive beach volleyball.
