Jeffery Moy Joins Rockefeller Financial as Head of Private Equity
NEW YORK, Aug. 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Rockefeller Financial ("Company")—a leading global wealth management firm serving individuals, families, trusts, foundations and other institutions—announced today that Jeffery Moy joined the firm as Head of Private Equity on August 1, 2011. Mr. Moy will be responsible for oversight of Rockefeller Financial's private equity and venture capital program, including the selection and review of third-party managers, the review of client private equity portfolios and new business development.

Prior to joining Rockefeller, Mr. Moy was most recently a Senior Managing Director at Liberty Mutual Investment Advisors, LLC, where, among other things, he spearheaded a strategy to broaden the firm's alternative markets portfolio. During his 16-year career at the firm, he was responsible for sourcing, evaluating, recommending, and monitoring a portfolio of funds across venture capital, growth capital, leveraged buyout partnerships, emerging market funds, private equity secondaries and co-investments.
Mr. Moy received a MS in Management from the Sloan School of Management at MIT and a BS in Business Administration from Boston University. He holds the following professional designations: Chartered Financial Analyst, Chartered Market Technician and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst.
