Jeff Styers Receives Governor Snyder Appointment To UCC

BINGHAM FARMS, Mich., June 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Arrow Strategies announces that their Founder and CEO, Jeff Styers, has been appointed by Governor Snyder to the Unarmed Combat Commission formerly the Michigan Boxing Commission.

Housed within the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, the 11-member commission regulates professional boxing and mixed martial arts events.

"I thank these appointments for their willingness to serve on the commission to represent unarmed combat sports in Michigan," said Governor Snyder.

Prior to his business career and founding Arrow Strategies, which is a $45 million full-service contract staffing firm with several offices across the country, Jeff was an undefeated professional boxer. Additionally, he had a long amateur boxing career with over 100 fights including the Marine Corps boxing team when he was a member of the United States Marine Corps in 1984 to 1986.

In addition to serving as the President and CEO at Arrow Strategies, Jeff is looking forward to serving on the UCC Commission; "Receiving this appointment to serve on the UCC commission is an honor as it gives me an opportunity to give back to the sport of Professional Boxing which has been so instrumental in my life," says Jeff Styers.
