Jeff Hewson Joins Carousel Industries to Lead Sales Efforts of Converged Solutions Group

EXETER, R.I., Oct. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Carousel Industries, a leader in data networking and converged communications announced today that Jeff Hewson has joined the company as Director of Sales, Converged Solutions Group. In his new role, Jeff will be responsible for managing and enhancing the relationships Carousel has with key industry manufacturers.  He will also be creating a team of convergence technology experts responsible for supporting the business development efforts of Carousel's nationwide sales team.

Jeff has spent the last 18 years of his career in the data and telecommunications industry working in Sales, Channel Management, Operations and Marketing. He has worked for such companies as Wellfleet Communications, Bay Networks, Nortel Networks, Firstwave Intelligent Optical Networks, and Juniper Networks. Jeff was the Business Development Manager on the Nortel AT&T account team where he helped build the next generation optical AT&T backbone and launch many technical managed services. While at Juniper Jeff was instrumental in building and developing the Juniper VAR community after the acquisition of Netscreen technologies when Juniper's focus went from a direct to channel based sales model. His expertise is primarily based on selling around datacenter infrastructure and security based solutions. Jeff holds certification degrees from Northeastern University in Data and Telecommunications.
