Jeanie Wyatt Chosen Again as One of Barron's Top 100 Independent Advisors
Wyatt is One of Five Texans on the List
SAN ANTONIO, Sept. 12, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Jeanie Wyatt, CFA, CEO & Chief Investment Officer of South Texas Money Management, Ltd., was again selected as one of Barron's Top 100 Independent Advisors. Ms. Wyatt, who was also named to the list in 2010, was one of eight women to make the national ranking, and South Texas Money Management was one of only five Texas firms to be included on the list.
The formula Barron's uses to rank advisors is proprietary according to a Barron's Research Manager. The ranking is based on assets under management, revenues the advisors generate for their firms and the quality of their practices. The quality-of-practice component includes an evaluation of each advisor's regulatory record.
"In these challenging times, we are especially proud to be included in this list of independent advisors," said Wyatt. "It is a time when disciplined investing and communication is appreciated by our clients. South Texas Money Management takes our commitment to both very seriously."
