The company is offering Ygrene financing in the offsetting of costs for the purchase and install of energy-efficient windows, doors, insulation, appliances, and drought-resistant landscaping, through the YGrene Energy Fund.

The concept of energy efficiency is not a new one. However, with the Ygrene program being launched in 2010 in California, it is still relatively new - particularly to Broward County. In Broward County, there are currently homes in only four municipalities (Dania Beach, Hollywood, Margate and Pompano Beach) that are eligible for Ygrene Financing. Miami-Dade County leads the charge with 20 municipalities, including Coral Gables, Key Biscayne, Hialeah, Miami, and others.
