J.D. Power Joins TRANSACT as Presenting Sponsor of the Inaugural SMB Summit
WASHINGTON, Feb. 5, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- The Electronic Transactions Association (ETA) today announced J.D. Power as the presenting sponsor of the SMB Summit at TRANSACT, the world's largest payments technology event, April 30 – May 2, 2019 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. J.D. Power will kick-off the event with an exclusive discussion of the upcoming J.D. Power Merchant Services Satisfaction StudySM. The study profiles the customer experience in the small and midsize business (SMB) market for merchant acquirers and identifies key priorities for payments companies to engage and serve the small business segment.
TRANSACT will be the only industry event where Paul McAdam, senior director of the financial services practice at J.D. Power, will present the findings. A moderated panel discussion with senior executives from leading merchant acquirers will provide insights into the ways in which their companies are building customer satisfaction and serving the needs of their SMB customers.
"Our data is the first of its kind – results that paint a clear picture of opportunities for payments technology providers to strengthen their relationships with small-and-medium size merchants in the U.S.," said McAdam. "Bringing our data together with top payments technology leaders at TRANSACT, the biggest stage in the industry, is the most effective way to share the study results."
The Small Business Summit at TRANSACT on Thursday, May 2, will feature presentations on topics like technological disruption, marketing and evolving products and services with a focus on servicing SMB market segments.
"Small businesses are the engine that powers American commerce, and payments companies are constantly striving to provide them with secure, affordable next-gen solutions to help them grow their businesses," said Amy Zirkle, vice president of industry affairs at ETA. "This groundbreaking J.D. Power study presented exclusively at TRANSACT is an opportunity to support the SMB marketplace and foster more innovative products for American entrepreneurs."
TRANSACT provides 4,000 attendees with a robust exhibit hall with more than 200 exhibitors, extensive networking events, and forward-looking educational sessions on the groundbreaking technologies, trends and policies shaping the payments industry.
