JBT Corporation Announces Award of New Tomato Processing Project in China
CHICAGO, Jan. 11, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- JBT Corporation (NYSE: JBT) announced today that its JBT FoodTech business signed a Euro 6.3 million (approximately US $8 million) contract with China Haohan Group Ltd. JBT FoodTech will supply the equipment, including evaporation, flash cooling and aseptic sterilization technologies, to provide high capacity production of tomato paste for a new plant in the Xinjiang Province of China. China Haohan Group is one of the largest producers and exporters of tomato paste in China.

The order was received in the fourth quarter of 2010 with the project currently scheduled to be operational in the third quarter of 2011.
