JBT Corporation Announces Award of Citrus Processing Conversion Contract
CHICAGO, June 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- JBT Corporation (NYSE: JBT) announced today that its JBT FoodTech business has been awarded an exclusive contract in excess of $30 million for the supply of new citrus processing equipment to French group Louis Dreyfus Commodities. The six year operating lease agreement includes the conversion of all LD Commodities' (Dreyfus) Brazil and US-based citrus processing facilities to JBT FoodTech citrus juice extractors and associated ancillary equipment.
Dreyfus participates in a wide variety of businesses and commodities including the processing of citrus fruits, being one of the world's three largest orange juice processors. Dreyfus markets citrus juice produced in their Brazil and U.S. operations to over 70 countries throughout North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Latin America.

The project will be phased in over the next three years with all Dreyfus facilities fully converted to JBT FoodTech citrus extractors by the second quarter of 2013.
