READING, Pa., Nov. 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Jayne Schaeffer is recognized by Continental Who's Who as a 2016 Woman of The Year in the field of Finance.
Schaeffer is a Partner with Herbein and Company, Inc. With over twenty years of experience, She works extensively with attorneys and other professionals on estate and trust issues. Currently, her professional focus includes estate, trust and gift planning and compliance, retirement distributions, and individual income tax returns. Additionally, she is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and a Personal Financial Specialist.
Schaffer is a member of many prestigious professional organizations including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and is an active member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) where she is involved in the Lifestyle and Family Issues Committee of their Reading Chapter.
She also serves on the Finance and Executive committees of the American Red Cross (Berks County Chapter), Reading Musical Foundation, Berks County Estate Planning Council, United Way of Berks County on the Allocations Committee, Partners for the Future, Planned Giving Committee, and the Berks County Community Foundation.
As a result of her dedication and professionalism, Schaffer has been awarded with the United Way's June Roedel Award, as well as Berks County Community Foundation's Door Opener Society Award.
She earned her B.S. Degree in Accounting from Albright College.
When she's not working, Schaeffer enjoys playing piano and cooking. She is also an avid reader of cookbooks.
