Jawa Teams up With the Sierra Club Grand Canyon Chapter Pledging Funds and Company-Wide Green Initiatives

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., July 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Leading software and interactive media firm, Jawa, has selected the Sierra Club's Grand Canyon Chapter as this month's 'Jawa Gives' charity recipient.  In addition to cash and in-kind donations that will support the Sierra Club's mission to practice and promote responsible use of the Earth's ecosystems and resources, Jawa has committed to launching in-house 'green' initiatives including office-wide recycling and cutting back on plastic and Styrofoam use.

Jawa's donation to the Sierra Club's Grand Canyon Chapter is part of its employee-driven philanthropy program 'Jawa Gives' which allows staff members to nominate non-profit organizations that have positively affected their lives. The Sierra Club was nominated for 'Jawa Gives,' by an employee who's been active with the organization for 15 years and shares its passion for environmental sustainability.
