Jason LaBue Named Executive Chef At J Vineyards & Winery

HEALDSBURG, Calif., Jan. 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Jason LaBue has joined J Vineyards & Winery as Executive Chef. A graduate of the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco and third-generation chef, LaBue now oversees all food and wine programs at the winery, including a regularly updated menu in the acclaimed J Bubble Room.

His previous culinary and cooking positions have included Madrona Manor in Healdsburg, The Farm at Carneros Inn, Murray's Circle at Cavallo Point in San Francisco, and at The Restaurant at Meadowood Resort in Napa Valley. With over ten years of professional culinary experience, he is a passionate proponent of local and sustainable farming and fishing. 

"I have incorporated a 'local' slant into every new Bubble Room menu," said LaBue. "We are creating food in all our trade and consumer fine dining experiences at the winery with ingredient-based sustainability playing an important role in all our special events."

LaBue's culinary creations play an important role at J's Visitor Center, expanding a food component that encompasses all winery trade and consumer hospitality. LaBue will also be front and center in a renewed push to host additional corporate events at the winery.
