Jason Hill Joins the Law Firm of SmithAmundsen LLC

CHICAGO, Sept. 6, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The law firm of SmithAmundsen LLC announces that Jason Hill has joined the St. Louis office as a partner in the Corporate and Transactional Services group.  Jason has been in private practice since 2006 and during that time has won impressive legal victories for businesses with local, national, and international interests.  The addition of Hill's talents furthers the firm's multi-dimensional legal business services growth in Missouri.  

Jason handles matters for public and private sector clients including advising on transactional and compliance issues. He practices extensively in mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, commercial finance transactions (lender and borrower), domestic and international contracts, Uniform Commercial Code and secured lending matters, consumer protection regulations and consumer lending compliance.  Additionally, his practice extends to the formation and operation of client-owned captive insurance companies. Jason also specializes in privacy regulation, a rapidly-evolving area of corporate law, regularly helping to guide clients through the various federal, state and international privacy landscapes.

Jason is licensed to practice in Missouri and Illinois.  He obtained his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL and his juris doctorate and MBA from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, MO.
