Japanese Dubai Resident Won a New Guinness World Record in Versailles

Machiko Ikeoka's team and the gardeners of King's Kitchen Garden created a historical event by reviving Marie Antoinette for a new luxury record. The world's Largest Origami Rose has an diameter of 5.08 m (16 ft 8 in) and made with a rare Japanese golden Washi.
This Guinness project shared with hundreds of children in Versailles was aimed to remind everyone of the importance of craftsmanship and transforming simple things into beautiful art. "We are proud to bring this Japanese spirit to Versailles with such an innovative project requiring a team of 8 people to rise the Rose instead of just one, marking team spirit and intelligent hands" said Machiko Ikeoka, Nina's Marie-Antoinette representative in Dubai from Kanazawa.
