Japan Disaster Subject of Legal, Business & Insurance Seminar, HB Announces
PHILADELPHIA, April 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- In-house counsel, litigators, health scientists, and business consultants in the areas of energy, healthcare, construction and financial services will gather to assess the impact of the Japan earthquake on U.S. and international business, announced Tom Hagy, CEO of HB Litigation Conferences, producer of the program.
Insurance and reinsurance will be of particular focus of the event, Hagy said, given losses from the disaster are estimated to be between $12 billion to $30 billion. He added that the program will be free for in-house counsel.
Titled "The Japan Earthquake: Global Legal, Business, Insurance & Reinsurance Impacts," the event will take place in San Francisco on May 17, 2011, and in Philadelphia in June, 2011. The dates are subject to change due to demand.
