Jan De Meulder Wins the Inaugural Supply Chain Innovator of the Year Award 2014

The inaugural Supply Chain Innovator of the Year Award 2014 has recognised a leader that has demonstrated excellence in driving innovation and performance across the global supply chain. While many companies worked for years to move back-office operations to countries with lower labor cost, he drove the standardization of all P2P processes globally across Texas Instruments.

Following a process of peer nomination and an industry vote, WTG are delighted to announce that Jan De Meulder, Director of Supply Chain and Logistics - Texas Instruments is the first recipient of the Supply Chain Innovator of the Year Award.
Mr Meulder said: "I am very appreciative and humbled to be the recipient of this award. Mr Meulder's award was presented at the 12th year of the American Supply Chain and Logistics Summit on the evening of Tuesday December 9.
Past Summit speakers and Advisory Board members were asked to provide the nominations for this Award and Jan De Meulder was chosen by industry vote from the shortlist of industry heavyweights - which also included Walter Santiago III, Sr. Project Manager of Janssen Pharmaceuticals (a Johnson & Johnson Company); Co-nominated: Matt Clark, Senior Director of Supply Chain and Allen Thornton, Director, Logistics of Habitat for Humanity.
