KANSAS CITY, Mo., Oct. 12, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Jamie Patel joined American Century Investments on Oct. 1 as senior vice president and chief technology officer. She oversees the firm's information technology department and joins American Century's Operating Group leadership team. Patel reports to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Patrick Bannigan.

Patel joined from the Bank of Montreal where she was the chief information officer of products and central services. Prior to joining BMO, she was a senior vice president at Sabre Holdings. Both at BMO and Sabre, Patel was integral in the development and success of large-scale technology strategies that directly impacted the development of products and solutions for clients.
Patel holds a bachelor's degree in computer engineering from North Staffordshire University, U.K. and completed advanced management studies at Southern Methodist University.
