James F. Stutts to Retire as General Counsel of Dominion
RICHMOND, Va., Nov. 9, 2010 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Dominion (NYSE: D) announced today that James F. Stutts, senior vice president and general counsel, will retire from the company, effective Jan. 1, 2011.
Subject to Board of Directors' approval, Robert M. Blue will be promoted to senior vice president-Law, Public Policy & Environment, and Carter M. Reid will become general counsel and vice president-Governance and Corporate Secretary. Reid will continue to report to Thomas F. Farrell II, chairman, president and CEO, as corporate secretary and to Blue as general counsel. Blue will continue to report directly to Farrell.

Stutts joined Dominion in 1997. Prior to his tenure at Dominion, Stutts was a partner at McGuire, Woods, Battle & Boothe (now McGuireWoods LLP) and McSweeney, Stutts & Burch (now McSweeney & Crump). Before earning his law degree, Stutts served as vice president-Corporate Finance for Wheat First Securities in Richmond, Va.
Blue is senior vice president-Public Policy & Environment. He joined Dominion in 2005. Reid is the company's vice president-Governance and Corporate Secretary. She came to Dominion in 1996.
