James D. Robinson III to Join Semtek Board of Directors
SAN DIEGO, Feb. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Semtek Innovative Solutions Corporation announced today that James D. Robinson III has joined the Company's board of directors. Mr. Robinson is a general partner at RRE Ventures, a New York-based venture capital firm that has participated in both of Semtek's equity financing rounds. Mr. Robinson replaces his RRE colleague Richard McGinn, who has served on Semtek's board since October, 2007.

He served as a member of the Board of Directors of First Data Corporation and chairman of its Executive Committee prior to KKR taking the company private in 2007. In addition to the Semtek board, Robinson serves on the Board of Directors of The Coca-Cola Company, and is an advisor to Novell. He is Honorary Chairman of the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, an Honorary Trustee of the Brookings Institution, and Chairman Emeritus of the Partnership for New York City and the World Travel and Tourism Council. Robinson served as Co-Chairman of the Business Roundtable and as Chairman of the Advisory Committee on Trade Policy and Negotiations. Mr. Robinson holds an MBA from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Science from Georgia Institute of Technology.
