James D. R. Redpath is recognized by Continental Who's Who

PHOENIX, June 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- James D. R. Redpath is recognized by Continental Who's Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in the field of Legal Services.

Redpath's professional title is Assistant Attorney General with the Office of the Arizona Attorney General. He brings over 50 years of legal experience to his role, all spent practicing law in the state of Arizona. He specializes in representing the Department of Transportation in eminent domain law, highway liability and risk management. He has also defended the state in legal tort cases.

"When I first started working at the Attorney General's office 50 years ago, things were set up differently," Redpath said. "At one time, I was the head of the group of attorneys that represented the department of transportation."

Prior to starting his law career, Redpath earned his Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies from the University of Arkansas. He went on to complete his Law degree, also from the University of Arkansas.

While studying for the Arizona Bar exam, Redpath worked as an insurance adjustor for State Farm Insurance. He then learned of a position opening in the Arizona Attorney General's office, applied for the position and has worked at the office ever since.

"The key to success is loving what I do and making sure that I keep up with any changes that occur," Redpath said.

In looking to the future, Redpath hopes to continue to serve the Government of Arizona in all Transportation Law matters for as long as he can prior to retirement.
