KERRVILLE, Texas, March 11, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- James Avery Artisan Jewelry broke ground Tuesday, March 10 at their new regional corporate offices, The Artisan at James Avery Plaza, in Cedar Park, Texas. The new building will allow the family-owned jewelry retailer based in Kerrville, Texas to grow their presence in the greater Austin area.

James Avery Artisan Jewelry CEO John McCullough, Vice President of Store Operations Marilyn Price, Chief Information Officer Harsha Bellur, Vice President of Architectural Design Howell Ridout and COO/CFO Paul Zipp were on hand Tuesday, March 10 as the company broke ground on their new regional offices in Cedar Park, Texas. The Artisan at James Avery Plaza will house nearly 100 James Avery information technology, retail operations, human resources and customer service center associates. The company expects to open the new offices in 2021.

"We have been renting space in the Austin area for the past 10 years, predominantly for company IT operations and staff," said John McCullough, James Avery CEO. "After renting offices all of this time, it makes financial sense for us to purchase property and build."

The Artisan at James Avery Plaza will be a multi-use space for company internet technology, retail operations and human resources support teams as well as a customer service center. These teams are co-located between Austin and Kerrville. The James Avery corporate headquarters will remain in their hometown of Kerrville.

The 65-year-old Texas Hill Country company, known for their sterling silver and gold jewelry, anticipates growth in both Kerrville and Cedar Park to meet ongoing business needs. Their new regional office is projected to house around 100 positions, including associates from their current Austin area location.
