NORWICH, Conn., Feb. 6, 2018 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Connecticut Municipal Electric Energy Cooperative (CMEEC), a public power entity that provides electric services to municipal utilities and participating wholesale customers, announces Jake Pagragan as director, customer and community prosperity. In this new role, Pagragan is responsible for business development, community and customer engagement, delivery of new products and services, and elevating the overall customer experience and CMEEC value proposition.
Pagragan brings leadership and organizational skills to the new role as CMEEC expands its service areas to neighboring states. Prior to joining CMEEC, Pagragan was a Northeast sales executive for the National Rifle Association, responsible for building, maintaining and managing business relationships in a dynamic, competitive market.

Prior to his work with the National Rifle Association, Pagragan served nine years on active duty as a United States Marine Corps Artillery Officer. During that time, Pagragan received certifications in sales and public speaking and was recognized for meritorious service for performance and marketing and sales innovation. He remains a member of the Selected Marine Corps Reserves (SMCR) as an Executive Officer for Golf Battery 3rd Battalion 14th Marines.
Pagragan holds a Bachelor of Arts from Norwich University and is a current board member for the Connecticut Economic Resource Center. He resides in Connecticut with his wife and six children.
