Jackpot! AirTran Airways Adds Tunica, Miss., to its Route Map

ORLANDO, Fla., May 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AAI), today launched nonstop service from Tunica Airport in Tunica, Miss., to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

To celebrate the inaugural flight, the airline hosted an event at the airport featuring local dignitaries and a donation to the local branch of the American Cancer Society's Hope Lodge.

In conjunction with its new service, AirTran Airways will offer introductory fares for its new flights to/from Atlanta at $89* one-way. Travel on introductory fares must be booked by May 13, 2010, for travel through August 30, 2010. Fares listed are one way and are valid in either direction:
