Jackie Scanlan joins Novo Nordisk Inc. as Corporate Vice President, Human Resources

PLAINSBORO, N.J., Oct. 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Novo Nordisk Inc., the North American affiliate of the global healthcare company with more than 90 years of innovation and leadership in diabetes care, announced today that Jackie Scanlan joined its executive team as Corporate Vice President, Human Resources.

Jackie comes to Novo Nordisk from the Campbell Soup Company, where she most recently served as vice president of human resources for its international business unit. Under her leadership, she led activities involving organizational development, change and talent management.

Jackie was with the Campbell Soup Company since 2007. Prior to joining Campbell Soup, Jackie held multiple roles in consulting and HR at Accenture, DuPont Pharmaceuticals Company and Bristol-Myers Squibb. She has won multiple awards including being named to the Top 20 Executives under 40, South Jersey Biz Magazine and Diversity Journal's Women Worth Watching Issue^®.

Jackie received a B.A. in Political Science from Saint Joseph's University and a M.S. in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania.
