Jackie Jennifer Named Senior Vice President of Operations for Blue Cross
EAGAN, Minn., Oct. 13 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota (Blue Cross) today announced Jackie Jennifer as senior vice president of operations. In her role she will be responsible for leading the strategy and implementation for service operations and claims systems.
Jennifer has more than 30 years of service operations experience. Most recently she served as the senior vice president of service at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey. Her experience also includes serving in senior leadership positions with Premera Blue Cross, Omni Healthcare, Inc. and Foundation Health Federal Services and with Health Net.
"Jackie's expertise in the area of operations will be a significant asset to Blue Cross," said Pat Geraghty, Blue Cross president and chief executive officer. "She comes to us with a proven track record of high satisfaction rates in the areas of member and physician customer service and claims processing."
Jennifer received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Morgan State University in Baltimore. She has been a long time member of the board of trustees of United Way and is a past chair of SERV Foundation, a Princeton, N.J.-based organization that provides support to mentally challenged adults.
