SANTA CLARA, Calif., July 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Jackery, provider of premium rechargeable battery products for mobile devices, announced today important capacity and color option updates to several of its industry-leading products including the Giant, Bar, and Mini.

All of the company's Giant products were upgraded from a 10400mAh capacity to the enhanced Giant+ products which have capacities of 12000mAh. mAh refers to milliampere hours, which is the easiest way to determine the capacity power of a battery. The pricing for the Giant+ was also reduced to $39.95 from $49.95. The Giant+ is the world's most powerful external rechargeable battery offering dual output ports of 2.1A and 1A and up to an additional 260 hours of extra talk time.

The Jackery Bar, the world's smallest power bank with 2.1A output for fast charging, now features 6000mAh of capacity, a nearly 10% increase from its previous 5600mAh. Similar to other Jackery products, the Bar features advanced power lock technology with a device standby time of up to six months. Both the Jackery Bar and Giant+ are now also available in the gold color.

The Jackery Mini, the world's smallest 3200 mAh rechargeable battery available on the market, is now available in new colors besides the company's iconic orange which includes gold, silver, and black. The device is approximately the size of a tube of lipstick, and weighs less than three ounces.
