J-W Energy Company Announces New President of J-W Operating Company

DALLAS, Sept. 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- J-W Energy Company is pleased to announce that Tony Meyer has accepted the position as President of J-W Operating Company. 

He has a proven track record in creating value in E&P organizations through improving operational efficiencies and high grading of prospect inventory through both acquisitions and divestitures. 

"He has worked in various engineering, operations and leadership positions at Anadarko Petroleum Corp. in Texas, Oklahoma, Alaska and Kansas and was responsible for international operations in Qatar, Tunisia, Oman, Venezuela and Algeria," stated Gene Gradick, President of J-W Energy Company. "With his experience in both small and large drilling programs, geological, land, and engineering groups as well as his experience in our current core areas I strongly believe that he is the right candidate to lead our efforts going forward as we rebalance our production profile." 

Mr. Meyer graduated with honors from Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering in 1981.   Mr. Meyer will report directly to Gene Gradick and will be headquartered out of the Addison, Texas office.
