J Vineyards & Winery Hosts Redwood Hill Goat Cheese Tasting
SET FOR SATURDAY, MARCH 27, 2010—NOON TO 4 P.M.
HEALDSBURG, Calif., Feb. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- David Bice of Redwood Hill Farm & Creamery, the award-winning Sebastopol-based goat cheese dairy, will present three cheeses at the J Vineyards & Winery Visitor Center on Saturday, March 27.
Open to the public, the cheese tasting is complimentary with a $20 J Signature Bar Tasting. Tastings at the Signature Bar include five wines chosen from J's portfolio of sparkling and varietal wines. Reservations are not required. (The Signature Bar Tasting is complimentary for J Wine Club members.)
For over 40 years, the internationally renowned Redwood Hill Farm & Creamery has consistently won gold medals for its organic goat milk and cheeses, and is an active participant in the Slow Food Movement.
In a separate area adjacent to the Signature Bar Tasting, wine and food lovers can luxuriate in the famed J Bubble Room. The Bubble Room features a three-part seasonal food and wine experience. J Executive Chef Mark E. Caldwell prepares a memorable Wine Country tasting menu that highlights the terroir of each of the six featured wines. The tasting fee for the Bubble Room food and wine experience is $60 per person and reservations are required. (The Bubble Room tasting is $45 for Wine Club members.)

A visit to the J Vineyards & Winery "Signature Bar" and "Bubble Room" is a must for anyone heading to Sonoma County and the Russian River Valley. J's two tasting salons at the Visitor Center are the perfect hip locations to sample current vintages and catch up on the latest winery news and information. The Visitor Center is open daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
