HUNTSVILLE, Ala., March 3, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- IXS Coatings, a global leader in proprietary, high-performance protective coatings engineered to add durability to commercial vehicles and work trucks, rolls into the 2020 NTEA Work Truck Show with a Jesse James work truck masterpiece – a 1993 Dodge Ram D350 flatbed welding truck featuring a LINE-X PREMIUM protective coating on the flatbed which holds a vintage Lincoln arc welder, gas welding tanks and other welding equipment. The build highlights several different ways IXS's protective coatings can be used to provide superior protection against impact, abrasion, rust, corrosion and harsh chemicals. The UV-resistant LINE-X PREMIUM coating protects the surface of the flatbed as well as the sides, wheel wells and rear bumper area. The LINE-X coating was also used to protect the Truck Gear by LINE-X Hitch Step mounted in the trailer receiver. The D350 was first unveiled at the 2018 SEMA Show in Las Vegas where it was an integral part of LINE-X's 25th anniversary celebration.
In addition to Jesse James' welding truck, the company will also have on hand several examples of polyurea and hybrid polyurea/polyurethane protective coatings from its impressive portfolio of coatings formulations from LINE-X and Ultimate Linings. Polyurea solutions from IXS Coatings have been trusted and approved by Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), commercial and industrial operations, and construction companies around the world. IXS Coatings has a variety of different products which can be tailored to meet a customer's needs, including specialized robotic application systems.
"Work trucks and other commercial vehicles are built to handle tough conditions but without one of IXS's cutting edge protective coatings, any damage caused by rust, impact, abrasion and harsh weather are guaranteed to shorten a vehicle's lifecycle," said Dennis Weese, president of IXS Coatings. "Our products are scientifically engineered to provide a critical layer of protection that can help keep fleet vehicles looking great and in service for years. Additionally, the unique texture of our protective coatings helps prevent slips when workers are standing on coated surfaces. IXS Coatings' products are critical to keeping a fleet operating smoothly."
The NTEA Work Truck Show runs from Mar. 3-6, 2020 in the Indianapolis Convention Center in Indianapolis, Ind. IXS Coatings is located in booth #2541 of the first level of the exhibit hall.
