MCLEAN, Va., Dec. 13, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- iWorks Corporation has won a position on a potential five-year, $550 million blanket purchase agreement providing Interoperability Technology and Program Services (ITPS) to the Defense Manpower Data Center.
iWorks said Wednesday it is one of 11 companies that will compete for work to help implement interagency interoperability of the DMDC portfolio.
The scope of work encompasses information technology architecture, security, system and application design, development, implementation and maintenance support services.
The BPA was awarded through a full and open competition using the General Services Administration's Information Technology Schedule 70 contract.
Charlie Sowell, iWorks' Chief Operating Officer, highlighted the importance of this strategic win for the company saying, "We look forward to using the ITPS contract to continue providing domain expertise and technology required to support DMDC's interagency interoperability efforts, particularly in the personnel security systems domain."
Work will primarily occur at DMDC's Seaside, California and Arlington, Virginia locations as well as iWorks' McLean, Virginia offices.
