ItsOn, Inc. Appoints New SVP of Product & Engineering and SVP of Operations

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., July 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- ItsOn, a cloud-based mobile service platform that radically enhances mobile operator capabilities, has hired two new senior executives to further the company's goals in enabling a new generation of smart mobile services.

Thierry Chassaing joins ItsOn as senior VP of product and engineering from Yahoo!.  As vice president of engineering of mobile and presentation services at Yahoo!, he helped deliver personalized experiences across connected devices. Prior to Yahoo!, Thierry lead Nokia's web technologies platforms product and R&D organization, and served as VP of engineering at Danger where he was responsible for the mobile experience services delivery platform. He also served in a VP of engineering role at OpenWave Systems.

Mak Azadi joins ItsOn as senior VP of operations from Shutterfly, as vice president of customer experience, he helped to dramatically improve overall customer satisfaction and retention. Prior to joining Shutterfly, Mak was the chief operating officer at Tiny Prints where he led day-to-day operations of the company as it grew from 25 employees and $6 million in revenue to over 300 employees and nearly $150 million. He has also held leadership roles at Starbucks Coffee and Amazon.com
