iTable, Built by Digital Management, Inc., (DMI) and U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) Wins Digital Government Achievement Award

BETHESDA, Md., Sept. 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Digital Management, Inc., (DMI), a leading IT solutions and business strategy consulting firm, today announced that the iTable (http://www.bea.gov/iTable) site, developed by DMI and the BEA, was one of two winners in the "Driving Digital Government Federal government" category of the 2012 Digital Government Achievement Awards (DGAA).

BEA undertook the iTable project as an initiative to update its interactive data service, making it easier to access, use, chart and share the Bureau's statistics. BEA contracted with DMI to build the underlying data delivery infrastructure, and to provide application development support to the BEA teams who built the iTable applications.

iTable improves information access by:

• Providing a common look and feel for users accessing national, international, regional or industry statistics
• Making the data easier to print, save and export
• Offering robust and visually appealing interactive charting features
• And making the data easier to share with others via a variety of tools
