IT Employment Up Almost 6% Annually

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 7, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- IT employment continued its strong pace of growth in July, posting another all-time high.

The number of IT jobs grew 0.43 percent sequentially last month to 4,493,100, according to TechServe Alliance, a collaboration of IT & Engineering Staffing and Solutions firms, clients, consultants and suppliers. On a year-over-year basis, IT employment has grown by 5.93% since July 2012 adding almost 251,500 IT workers.
