IT and Engineering Jobs Continue to Grow at an Accelerated Pace in February
ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 11, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The number of IT jobs grew 0.38 percent sequentially last month to 4,605,700, according to TechServe Alliance, the national trade association of the IT & Engineering Staffing and Solutions industry. On a year-over-year basis, IT employment has grown by 2.23% since February 2013 adding 100,400 IT workers.
Engineering jobs grew again in February, up 0.20 percent sequentially to 2,486,600. On a year-over-year basis, engineering employment has grown by 1.56% since February 2013 adding 38,300 engineering workers.
