Istituto Marangoni appoints Anna Dello Russo as the School's new Brand Ambassador
MIAMI, Oct. 17, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- A new and prestigious entrant on the front lines of Istituto Marangoni: undisputed international fashion icon Anna Dello Russo will be, from the beginning of October, the Fashion Brand Ambassador of Istituto Marangoni, international leader in private higher education in the fields of fashion, art and design.
An established figure in the international fashion industry, within journalism and social media, Anna Dello Russo will serve as Istituto Marangoni's Ambassador through a series of activities aimed at sharing the values, legacy and programmes of the School. As a Brand Ambassador, she will inspire young talents who wish to pursue a career in fashion by way of promoting and leading seminars and talks. Industry personalities and students will be equally involved, and Dello Russo will provide inspiration to help the educational offering develop in a modern and creative way.
A "fashion maniac", as described by Helmut Newton, Anna Dello Russo is the creative director of Vogue Japan, after having been Fashion Editor of Vogue Italia and from 2000 to 2006, the director of L'Uomo Vogue. Italian in origin but international in spirit, the journalist has travelled the world and gathered inspirations over the years from fashion and beyond. As one of the first online influencers and street style icons, she has then been translating this understanding of global trends into a democratic and spectacular story. To celebrate her 30-year career and to showcase an altogether exceptional life path and professional journey, Anna Dello Russo is making (participating to?) a documentary film which will feature, among others, Istituto Marangoni as a key player in the fashion industry.
"Anna Dello Russo's collaboration with Istituto Marangoni is for us a source of pride and inspiration for the future. We are convinced that her extensive experience in highly prestigious contexts, her innate ability to launch and seize upon the most contemporary trends in fashion and her creative talent, will be important values for the young people who choose Istituto Marangoni to realise their dreams and ambitions." says Roberto Riccio, CEO of Istituto Marangoni.
"My commitment with Istituto Marangoni is part of my vision to contribute and support young people who are tackling this hard but exciting work. The future of fashion is in the hands of young talents. I am honoured to be able to contribute to the education of a new Fashion generation, with courageous but attainable dreams and goals." declares Anna Dello Russo.
The appointment of Anna Dello Russo confirms Istituto Marangoni's ambition to involve the industry's undisputed protagonists, who can inspire and guide new generations of talents through professionalism, passion and a distinctive as well as unique creative streak.
