Issa Asad, CEO of Q Link Wireless, Explains the Lifeline Program in His New Informational Series

DANIA, Fla., Jan. 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Issa Asad, CEO of Q Link Wireless, LLC, has written and released an eight-part series of news articles published on CBS Miami News to clarify information about the Lifeline program. Asad, a Dania-based entrepreneur, is regarded as an expert on the Lifeline program and is CEO of Q Link Wireless, LLC, an approved provider of the Federal Lifeline Assistance Program.

Lifeline is a government benefit program that provides discounted or free cell phone service to low-income individuals in need. Cellular service providers like Q Link Wireless provide the cell phone service to qualified and approved Lifeline subscribers.

The Lifeline Program was actually instituted by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) under the Reagan Administration in 1984, and updated in 2005 under the Bush Administration.
