Israel-US Defensive Cyberspace Operations & Intelligence Conference to Elevate Collective Knowledge
TEL AVIV, Israel, March 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Cyberspace is developing and transforming daily making it imperative to contribute and elevate our collective knowledge.
On April 27th and 28th 2015, the Israel Institute for National Security Studies and the DC-based Cyber Security Forum Initiative will gather top leaders and experts who will present new technologies, intelligence, and cyber security information at the annual Defensive Cyberspace Operations & Intelligence Conference. The proceedings will take place at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center and George Washington University in Washington D.C.
Speakers will include current senior and former Israeli and American government officials and cyber experts from the CIA, US Department of Homeland Security, Israeli governmental and military security agencies, senior representatives from national infrastructure bodies, banks and major corporations as well as top executives from the cyber security industry.
The combination of Israel's perpetual concern with defense and its technological prowess have turned Israel into a world renowned center of excellence for cyber security and cyber space technology has become one of Israel's most important exports. American government officials and business executives are well aware of Israel's expertise in the cyber arena and will meet with their Israeli counterparts during this unique gathering which is taking place for the first time in the United States.
This year's event will address many of today's primary challenges of cyber security and look to the future. Topics to be discussed include critical infrastructure and financial protection, new defense technologies, national policy and strategy, cyber defense, and policy, legality, legislation and regulation. Possible ways of confronting these challenges and opportunities for shaping policy within the dynamic existence of cyberspace will be examined.
