CHARLOTTE, N.C., Oct. 1, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Infinisource is hosting educational webinars for its iSolved human capital management customers to help ensure they are up to speed on the relevant aspects of the Affordable Care Act (ACA). The webinars are designed to help employers navigate the maze of regulations and avoid possible non-compliance penalties or fines in the future.
The most recent webinars for brokers and customers presented by Dan Taylor, Vice President of Infinisource, briefed more than 600 registrants about the complexities and challenges of ACA compliance for employers of all sizes. Main takeaways from the presentation include the importance of compliance and what specific data must be reported to the IRS.
In summary, Applicable Large Employers (ALEs) must offer affordable, minimum essential coverage to all of their FTE (full-time-equivalent) employees. Forms 1094-C and 1095-C must be filed with the IRS by February 28 (manually) or March 31 (electronically), and 1095-C statements must be provided to employees by January 31 (same as with W-2s).
The educational webinars explore the details of how ALEs and FTEs are defined and tracked, the determination of coverage, affordability and the generation of forms and reports.
